Delivery Type With Tax (Duty + VAT) - wine ordered With Tax is for delivery to a United Kingdom address and can be made to either a home or work address. In Bond - wine ordered In Bond will be stored at our Bonded warehouse EHD London No.1 Bond Ltd. If you wish to purchase In Bond but have the stock transferred to your Bonded warehouse - please contact us.
Delivery We can deliver anywhere in the United Kingdom, Europe and outside Europe. Deliveries to a United Kingdom address are usually within 48 hours, Europe usually within 5 days and Outside Europe usually within 10 days.
United Kingdom Deliveries Deliveries for bottles will be undertaken by a courier of our choice and will be packed in polysafe tubes inside a cardboard outer. Costs vary dependent on quantity shown on our website. Deliveries for cases will be undertaken by EHD Bond. The minimum cost for delivery of one case of 12 in the United Kingdom is £18.99, with insurance up to the value of £500. If the value of the case(s) is above £1000, the case(s) will accrue £10 insurance per £1000 and insured at full value.
Europe Deliveries Deliveries for bottles will be undertaken by a courier of our choice with all necessary export paperwork and will be packed in polysafe tubes inside a cardboard outer. Costs vary dependent on quantity - please call for a quote. Deliveries for cases will be undertaken by EHD Bond and securely packed for transit with all necessary export paperwork - please call for a quote.
Outside Europe Deliveries for bottles will be undertaken by a courier of our choice with all necessary export paperwork and will be packed in polysafe tubes inside a cardboard outer. Costs vary dependent on quantity - please call for a quote. Deliveries for cases will be undertaken by EHD Bond and securely packed for transit with all necessary export paperwork - please call for a quote. All deliveries will require a signature by the customer. Deliveries wanted on a specific date may accrue an additional charge dependant on time of day and if at the weekend - please call for a quote. We do not delivery on Sunday or Bank Holidays.
Collection If goods have not been collected within 7 days, we will notify the customer either in writing, by phone or by email of our intention to deal, sell or dispose of the goods and if within 24 hours from the date we have received no correspondence, we shall have liberty to do so.
DamagesWe will replace all damaged goods delivered either with the same wine or an alternative if out of stock only if the goods have been signed for by the customer. We must have notification within 3 days from delivery.
Condition of wineIf the wine is found to be corked we will happily refund your money for the wine in full or replace it with same or an alternative if out of stock. We must have notification within 3 days from delivery.
Cancellation If an order is cancelled before being dispatched, monies will be refunded in full. If an order is cancelled after being dispatched, monies will be refunded less delivery charges on return of goods. We must have notification within 7 days from date of order.
Orders We reserve the right to cancel or reduce any orders, or suspend delivery in the event of being unable to execute them wholly or in part for any other reason, without notice.
Payment Payment is on Invoice, unless payment terms have been agreed.
Payment Default If the Client fails to make any payment due within the payment terms agreed, we reserve the right to charge interest at 5% above bank base rate of National Westminster Bank PLC. Such interest will accrue on a daily basis. We may also at our discretion cancel the order and charge a cancellation fee of 20% of the Invoice amount and any additional expenses incurred in the process of cancellation. We may also at our discretion use monies held on client account by us, or sell wines bought by the client but not yet delivered, to offset against any monies outstanding.
En Primeur Cancellation Wines ordered through our en primeur service can only be cancelled within 7 days of placing the order. A full refund of the purchase price of the wines will be given on receipt of formal notification in writing of cancellation of the order. Due to the unique nature of En Primeur sales we regret that orders cannot be cancelled after this time.
Credit Cards We will add a 3.5% charge to all Credit Cards payments to cover transaction charges by our Bank. There is no charge for Debit Cards.
Foreign Transactions All Bank charges incurred when payment is done in a Foreign currency will be the responsibility of the client.
Confidentiality The Client agrees that we may carry out any check as to the clients financial status as we shall deem fit. The Client accepts that we may attempt to verify the Client's identity by checking the details supplied against those held on a number of specific databases that the we have access to, for example information from the Electoral Register and fraud prevention agencies. A record of this may be be kept that may be used to to help other businesses to verify the Client's identity. We may also pass information to organisations involved in fraud prevention to protect us and other clients from theft and fraud. If the Client supplies false or inaccurate information and we suspect fraud, we will record this and share this information with other organisations.
General We reserve the right to record telephone conversations between the Client and us, the Client or its representative, if we deem it is necessary to do so. The Client, by accepting these terms and conditions, acknowledges and accepts that evidence of any such recordings may be referred to in respect of any dispute or difference between the parties.
Force Majeure We shall not be liable for any failure to meet our obligations occasioned by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
