Chateau Lafite Rothschild: Chateau Lafite Rothschild is the most recognised property name in the Medoc region of Bordeaux. Its history dates back to the14th Century and has knowingly been run as a vineyard since the 17th Century. The present owners the Rothschilds have had control since the 19th Century and through their guidance and investment Chateau Lafite has stayed at the forefront of modern winemaking. The vineyards total 178 hectares with plantings of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.Two wines are produced Chafite Lafite Rothschild a first growth Bordeaux and Carruades de Lafite, the second wine of Chateau Lafite Rothschild The best vintages have been in the following years; 1953, 1982, 1986, 1996, 2000, 2003 and 2005.

Chateau Leoville Barton: Chateau Leoville Barton has been owned by the Barton Family since 1836 and was once part of the Leoville esate that incorporated Chateau Leoville Lascases and ChateauLeoville Poyferre. The present owner Anthony Barton took control in 1986 of Chateau Leoville Barton and the sister estate of Chateau Lango Barton. There is no actual Chateau, but the vineyard can be found behind the town of St Julien. The wine is made at Chateau Lango Barton.
The Vineyard totals 47 hectates and is planted with 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc. Two wines are produced Chateau Leoville Barton a second growth Bordeaux, knownas a super second and Reserve de Leoville Barton, the second wine of Chateau Leoville Barton.
The best vintages have been in the following years: 1945, 1948, 1949, 1953, 1959, 1961, 1975, 1982, 1985, 1986, 1990, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2003, 2005.
Chateau Petrus: Chateau Petrus is the most celebrated and most expensive wine of Pomerol in Bordeaux. The estate is owned by Jean Francois Moueix and run by the renowned Christian Moueix. The history of the estate goes back some 200 years with the Arnaud family owning the estate right up to 1945, when it was sold to a Madame Loubat. In 1964 Jean-Pierre Moueix, the father of Jean Francoise and Christian Moueix acquired a share of the property and ran it with Madame Lacoste-Loubat, the niece of Madame Loubat. In 2003 when Jean-Pierre Moueix died, the control of the property passed to his son Jean Francois. The vineyards total 11.4 hectares with plantings of 95% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc.The best vintages have been in the following years; 1921, 1929, 1945, 1947, 1948, 1950, 1961, 1964, 1970, 1971, 1975, 1982, 1989, 1990, 1998, 2000, 2005.
