The name Labory refers to the owner from 1820-1840, Francois Labory. In 1845 Chateau Cos Labory was purchased by Monsieur d'Estournel and then sold to an English banker, Charles Martyns in 1852. The current owners are the Audoy family. The density of plantation is 8,700 vines per hectare with plantings of 35% Merlot, 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Two wines are produced: Chateau Cos Labory 65,000 bottles and Le Charme Labory 45,000 bottles.
