Chateau Fieuzal is is an old estate and was once the property of the La Rochefoucauld family that became famous for its wine under the management of Erik Bocke, a Swede, whose wife had inherited the estate after World War II. In 2001, the chateau was acquired by Lochlann Quinn. The vineyard is made up of 48 hectares - 39 of red made up of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 4.5% Cabernet Franc and 2.5% Petit Verdot. 9 hectares of white made up of equal amounts of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. A total production of 13,000 cases of red and 4,000 of dry white is a typical annual production.
