Rauzan-Segla can be traced back to 1661. In 1855, Ruzan-Segla was considered to be Bordeaux’s best wine after the quartet of premiers Lafite Rothchild, Latour, Margaux and Haut Brion. The density of plantation is 6,500-10,000 vines per hectare producing 100,000 bottles with plantings of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc.
