Pessac Leognan

2018 was a year of extremes. Between December 2017 and May 2018, the region had 800 mm of rain, the average for an entire year! This was followed by drought and a long hot summer for more than four consecutive months. Rare and ideal.

The quantity may be small, but the quality is remarkable. The wines are dense, structured and expressive. “Paradise after a hellish spring!” is something we heard time and again.
