Saint Julien

In Saint Julien, the year started with mild and humid weather. Unlike certain other appellations, climactic conditions continued to be favourable during development and ripening of the grapes.

The summer marked the coming of a great vintage: an exceptionally hot July and a very dry August, which gave the grapes wonderful tannic potential, concentration, and aromatic profile. Harvest took place under idyllic conditions.

The first tastings of this appellation show enticing complexity and freshness, power and elegance, with outstanding ageing potential. One of the finest vintages in the history of Bordeaux.
