Branaire Ducru is a fourth growth estate that has undergone considerable investment. Since 1991 the estate has benefited from a state-of-the-art cellar, the first cellar in Bordeaux to operate by gravity. The density of plantation is 10,000 vines per hectare with plantings of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot. Two wines are produced: Chateau Branaire Ducru 150,000-180,000 bottles and Chateau Duluc 150,000 bottles.
